The Meadows of Spring Hill Kansas

The Meadows is located in Spring Hill Kansas, just minutes south of the Kansas City Metro Area and Olathe, Kansas. With easy access to Highway 169 and I-35, The Meadows is the place to live for those looking to escape the congestion of crowded suburban life.

location

The Meadows is just 10 minutes from Olathe Medical Center and numerous shopping and entertainment venues. Residents of the community will also enjoy the close-at-hand recreational opportunities of Hillsdale Lake and Sycamore Ridge public golf course.

In the single-family home segment of the community, 134 ranch, 1 1/2-story and two-story homes are planned. Home sites are wide enough to accommodate three-car garages and many of the homes' exteriors feature stone, stucco and combinations of those materials. Four model homes are open and a selection of 10 homes will be finished within 30 days. The availability of ranch floor plans has brought many home buyers to the community. The homes range from $180,000 to $250,000. Prospective home buyers are also able to submit a plan and bring an outside builder to the community.

The town homes, which start at $116,900, will be highlighted by granite countertops and iron staircase spindles. The first townhouses are expected to be move-in ready in about a month. Sixty town homes are planned.

Town homes are going to provide home ownership in an affordable price range, especially for people who are just starting out as well as those who are looking for a carefree lifestyle. The community's "closer-than-you-think" location is important to residents as home owners have said, 'I'm 15 minutes from anywhere I need to be."

The community green space will be expanded by the spring to include a picnic area and the existing walking  trails. A distinctive entrance monument is also planned. An annual fee of $150 provides for upkeep of the common areas.

The Meadows is now under the ownership of new developers, Quadra Development of Harrisonville, Missouri. The principals for The Meadows are Danny Powell, Pat Flanner, Shawn Donohoe and Mark Curry. www.quadradev.com
